p3 I WANT MORE SPEED!!!!

I have just been trying to screw a bit more out of my cpu. mainly to annoy the person i bought the cpu from. I have a p3 450 that i have managed so far to get 600 out of. The person that i bought it off used to run it at 527 and said that it was not stable any higher. He bought a p3 500 which he runs at 620. it would jsut be nice to go that 1 mhz better at 621.
When i start thje pc at 621 it geys all the wau into windows 98, even plays the thunderclap startup sound and then gives me an illegal operation error. don't know what all the code means but it mentions rundll32.
anyone know what thuis error is refering to? is it chip related or could it be my memory?
will hitting it with a hammer help?
