  • Anywhere else has the K7M?

Apart from the aforementioned www.computer-x-press.com . I can't do business with them, as it would involve too many phone calls which are quite expensive from Jamaica to the states. They do not accept payment by wire transfer which is my preferred method. I normally order from www.mwave.com but they don't carry the K7M, only the FIC SD11. I'm sick of FIC mobos and do not want to buy one even at US$155 for the SD11.

I got a K7M from Scan in the UK a few weeks ago. When I took the plunge, the shortages were to do with the fan/sink combo, rather than the mobo.

      Scan do handle international orders.

FYI, www.computer-x-press has backordered the MB til Nov. 5 (at the earliest ) none have been shipped as of this date. I'm badly in need of it too... it's really sucks to have 7 gHz worth of Athlon sitting around awaiting test!

Thanks all.I Guess I'll cancel the order then. I reordered from them and they screwed up the expiry date on the credit card.I've had bad experiences with backordered stuff. By the way how much would it cost to get one of them "Greebized" 500 or 550's ?, and what heat sink do you recommend for the Athlon?
mwave do have the MSI 6167 for US$170 but I really want the K7M. Drat I guess i'll be without a proper machine for a little while yet *sigh* !@#$

Good luck getting the board. It sounds like a good MB, but intel has managed to pressure Asus into stopping their manufacture. http://www.amdzone.com

Oh, yeah this is just a good example of the extorsion that people call aggressive capitalism. Asus should tell them to take a hike.
