the $18 cost of the ps was due to it replacing and upgrading a 250ps. If I exchanged it another 250 the warranty would have covered the entire cost it. :-) (I believe the full price of the ps was around $70.)
With regards to playing with the power suppy and the caps and getting an electrical shock. Well, I think I get shocked enough just reading these forum. ;-)
