My system is fine too. Only slight problem is when I plug in a USB mouse. It works fine if you plug it in while Win98 is running, but if plug in before you boot the system, it hangs during startup. How bizarre.

Anyway, here are my specs:
MSI-6167 Motherboard + 500MHz Athlon
3dfx Voodoo3 2000 (G400 32MB DH in my other PC)

Ya RoGuE,

Win98 is bizarre. I have the USB Microsoft Natural Keyboard with a AOpen AX6BC Pro Gold motherboard. The thing hangs on shutdown unless I unplug the keybaord.

FYI, renaming my BIOS.vxd to something else, I can start and shutdown no problem without playing with the plug. According to the Windows Troubleshooting Guide for Windows 98, this is a PnP BIOS issue and should be rectified with an update.

Haven't decided to take the plung yet.

Mine is running fine. I installed those drivers from AMD's homepage haven't had any problems with board or processor. NFS3 crashes after race when trying to get back to main menu. I don't know why. Falcon 4 what is the game I am currently practicing plays fine.

ok any update on this issuee. i really want to get my mouse working and i would like to get a usb scanner. anyone figured out a good fixx ?? whats the rename bios thing??? help please.
