  • K7M Heaven!

Well i went to the local computer show in Edison, NJ and you couldn't swing a dead cat and not hit a Asus K7m board there. I didn't pay much atttenion to the prices, as not to torcher myself. I think the avg was about 185 or so for the board. I only saw one vendor carring the Abit BE6rv2 board and that was at a step $160 bucks.

I really wouldn't bother with the K7M, they are nicely loaded with all those features ie a good board for OCing. But, they are far to cramped to use ANY good HS/Fan and many have defective BIOS's (unflashable!).

The BEST pick is still the MSI MS-6167 IR1 MB. It has the space, runs rock solid and doesn't have nearly any problems with hardware or drivers!
