Much easier to follow the mobile market as far the GPU is concerned but as always, you still have to check each manufacturer clocks the GPU and the RAM differently from one another. Usually it's not enough to make a huge diffrence.
        1. 8800M GTX
        2. 8800M GTS
        3. 8700M GT
        4. 8600M GS
        5. 8600M GT
        6. 8400M GT
        7. 8400M GS
        8. 8400M G

But in Apple's case, the Powerbook (with ATi X1600) compared to the PC equivalent (Asus Z96Jm), there's a good 200MHz or so difference in the GPU and RAM clock.

              Benchmarks for Zokes!!

              People, keep in mind that
              1) We don't know are these numbers just bs
              2) There aren't any drivers out that would really support 9800 GX2
              3) ..which can mean a lot since this is card that uses SLI-solution

                  Sweet! Benchmarks!

By the looks of it, if those benchies are accurate, it's like the 7950GX2. It is running off of one PCIe 16x slot.

Can't wait to see the real thing running more more matue drivers.

Imagine this card ina 3way SLI, assuming that games would be programmed for it and the drivers could take advantage of it properly.

I think I read somewhere that the 9800GX2 will only do 2xSLI

A side note, more confirmation that there will indeed be a 9800GTX: http://www.theinquirer.net/gb/inquir...ow-teh-8800gtx

(those 2 are my most likely choices for my next card).

nVidia is already replacing their mobile units. The 8400 with a 9400 and 8600 with a 9600. According to nVidia, the only difference is how much power it consumes, apparently it's no faster.
