have just got a pIII500retail, fitted a alpha p3125 heatsink & fans and the bloody thing can't get above 560mhz(112fsb).the only way is if i put the cache at setting 9, which turns the cache off.anyway i'm sending the retail cpu back and really need to know where to purchase a cpu from which will o/c well(620 at 124fsb)or what to check for before buying another. one other thing, since re installing win 98 i can't access my back up cdroms which have more than one session, the option has gone from the menu(right click cdrom) and i have no idea how to get it back. many thanks in advance. tuco

if you go to http://www.overclockers.com they have a great list of o/c able "s-codes" and other important stuff to check for, I have a dealer in town so I could check the #'s before buying and be sure to cool your case well!
