HELP - Where can I buy an Aureal SQ2500 in the UK?

Arrgghh!!!!

I want to buy an Aureal Vortex2 SQ2500 SuperQuad sound card
but I can't find ANYWHERE in the UK - web, mail order or retail store
that has it!

Does anyone know of somewhere in the UK that might have it?

I was about to refer you to the speaker guy who had an SQ2500 in the UK then realised you are him, so presumably you haven't got one yet. I can find lots of places selling an OEM Aureal Vortex 2 Superquad card (eg Insight) but no-one calls it an SQ2500, and though they seem mostly similar there are subtle differences in the specs (fewer voices 300 odd instead of 576, optical digital output not coax). These could be typos or they maybe slightly different cards, or maybe they're shipping somehing slightly different to the UK, I don't know.

I posted the speaker question after I had decided what card to get - now I can't find anywhere to get one.

I have looked at insight but didn't see it. I'll check there again.

I've checked with Insight - it looks like the "Vortex2 SuperQuad digital PCI OEM" card is different from the SQ2500!

God damn it, I'm getting really pissed off with living in the UK. 80% of hardware I try and buy isn't available in the UK at all and the other 20% is about 60% more expensive than it is in the US.

Are we a second class country that isn't worth bothering with?
