    If you can get the software you need, apples are fine.Apart from closed system architecture. The GUI aint to bad, remeber windows was originally a poor copy.

    But i am programmer , and there is no way I am going start developing for Mac's because the market just aint big enough (individuallity is great but compatability is essential)
    Mind you I have always thought they used damn fine processors(how long did take intel to get more than 4 general purpose registers in there CPU's?)

    PS AMD has released the K7 750 , the .18 process jobby. Gig processing is HERE!

        Sorry, not about to happen. I can't blame anybody for not doing it though, I'd hate to support two bus architectures like that.
        Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
