Need help choosing a monitor

I been looking into the Iiyama vision master pro 510 22". True flat.
Does this monitor have faint horizontal lines across the display. If so then i'll look into shadowmask monitors. Are there any true flat shadowmask monitors ?
Current monitor is a hitachi superscan elite 751 19".

I can't answer your question, but I can say that the its a damn good monitor in my opinion. If I could afford a 22inch illyama, it would get preferance over a 19 inch "other" but I suppose it depends on what you need it for etc....

A 22inch vision master , now that would be a good photoshop monitor in my eyes....

The Iiyama monitors with an aperture grill, such as the 22" have the two faint lines, yes. The 22" has them, even though they really are hardly noticable, and you only really see them on a white background. True flat? no, not really. If you want flat (vertically and horizontaly), look at the SONY-Fx00 series. F400 (19") and F500 (21"), but they are EXPENSIVE.
The Iiyama are good value for money though.
And as for flat shadowmask screens? Dunno really, but if you find one, let me know
