price drop on intel cpu ?

can't remember where i read it, said it would happen on the 12th december on all intel cpu's. i,ve looked around but not seen any more news on this anywhere, anybody know anything?

I read the same thing, i also read that the price reductions are going to be almost negligable - about $10 - $12 on a pIII 733. crap..

Intel will reduce the price of PIII chips much more significantly on Jan 23rd 2000.

$10? its a bloody joke , looks like i'll wait until 23rdjan and hope they knock a arse(vanessa feltz sized)load of cash of the pIII coppermines.small question, how much difference does the power supply make when o/c?, mine is a 230w and i can o/c to 124fsb stable, 133fsb and i'm fine until i start playing games, would changing to a 300w supply help?

Only thing ps helps with is if you start useing lots of extra fans and shit. If you arent adding more devices your should be ok. But an upgrade to 300w is always cool
