I had trouble with using Mandrake on an AMD system. K6-2 it was, but after compiling the kernel for the right family of CPU (Mandrake is compiled for a Pentium Pro ) it was ok.
I just put together an Athlon system and Suse 6.3 runs great I may try Mandy 6.1 on another partition later.
