  • New camera

    Well like I said in the other thread my old Canon A700 was lifted from my house literally days before having to leave for a trip to Florida with my family.

    It WILL be covered by insurance plan so I needed a quick replacement and didn't have time to order something. So I got online and saw what was available locally at Target/Best Buy.

    I ended up getting this:

    Canon SD750

    It's perfectly sized for pocket storage while I'm out and about and honestly it takes better pictures than the A700 did and the flash recharges MUCH faster.
    Wikipedia and Google.... the needles to my tangent habit.

      10x optical zoom IS nice. this has only 3x versus the 4x of the A700. However, I didn't take the A700 everywhere because it did fit in pocket well. This SD750 is smaller than my phone.

      Hey at least you have a geeky wife that understands why 10x optical is GOOD.

        10x optical is bad.. for image quality, maximum aperture, usually wide angle.. and your waistline, because you don't have to move closer to your subject
