  • Abit BE6 Motherboard

I currently have a PIII 500 and an Abit BE6 motherboard. I am having problems getting my system to POST at 600 MHz. I remember reading somewhere on the WWW that there is a bug with the latest Abit BIOS, that will prevent the system from running over 560?

Does anyone know if this is true?

You guys who are running at 620 MHz, please tell me which version of the BIOS you are using. If I need to down flash to get more speed then I can do that.

I don't think heat is the issue because after playing Quake III or UT, my processor temp is only 35 deg C when running at 560 MHz.

    Please help!
