MSI Wind - shipped!

Woot! NCIX shipped my Wind. Should have it in a few days.

I'll probably upgrade to 6-cells later, but I needed it for my trip to BC. Which is now only a month away

Specs:
1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU
1GB DDR2-667 (upgradable to 2GB)
80GB HDD
10" LCD (LED Backlit) 1024x600
802.11 b / g wireless
Windows XP
Black
1kg (will be more like 1.2 or 1.3 with the 6-Cell)

I wanted something ultra portable for taking to school and taking notes with, and yet still have a decent sized keyboard and screen (unlike older model Eee's).

I guess when you drop it you don't want to "Break Wind".... :P

We have an HP 2133 in for eval right now...nice little machine: the screen is a tad small, but otherwise the system is quite serviceable...

Unfortunately, it is not a very Sysprep-friendly machine. Our sysprep guy is having fits with it. HP and Microsoft Engineers have also heard about it: we're not the only ones having problems...
