FSC laptop docking sync program!?!

    FSC laptop docking sync program!?!

    A customer who was interested in a laptop asked if we also could sell him a copy of Fujitsu Siemens "laptop docking sync" program suite, and as he described it as "you dock your laptop to your stationary computer and it syncs (or "mirrors" is closer to what he described) everything over to the stationary pc" I thought he just described the standard dock to port replicator with already attached monitor, mouse etc etc, but he claimed it wasn't.

    He also claimed that it was not a FCS only system, but when prodded on closer details he became aversive

    The question is, has anyone heard of a system like this, or can I just ignore it as someone who has misunderstood when a laptop docks to a port replicator ?

    Sounds like ActiveSync/Blackberry Connect/Palm Hotsync, haven't seen anything like that for laptops though. Maybe he's confusing PDA's with laptops

          FWIW, FSC laptops (in the professional range) are delivered with DeskView management software and Odyssey (network profiles).

          Could he be referring to Windows Roamig Profiles.....?
