  • Dell 17WX+ Screen?

Looking in to purchasing a Dell Precision laptop from their Outlet. The screen is listed as a 17WX+VAS LCD but google won't tell me what that means in spec. Does anyone know?

    Thanks,

    T.

Probably means 17" WXGA+ (1440x900). A little low for a 17", but might actually be easier on sore/older eyes (no offense intended).

Ta. It'll be for Wifey doing her HNC in IT. That will help her eyes a little, but I wonder if I should keep looking for a 1900* screen as she will be using a lot of IDEs etc.

1440x900 pixels isn't too little, IMHO. Probably better on a 17" than 1900. But why not show her some laptops with different resolutions and let her decide?
