Mushkin memory? What's yours?

How good is this stuff? They have a 128MB PC-133 stick for $130 or $150. Then they have Athlon-tested sticks for $216 (Siemens chips on this one). What do you guys think? I don't know the company.

What about your memory? What kind/price did you get? I'm looking for something for a K7/MSI system, and would really appreciate some advice.

The ONLY place that I buy my Sticks...
It cracks me up that everyone here is so big on hardware yet when they list their memory all they know is PC100..ect. Give these guys a go, they will hook you up and they have answers...

Good company-excellent memory.
Use either Mushkin or Memoryman,both know their memory,back up what they sell and seem to always have a price war going between the two of them.

Lately I've gone with www.corsairmicro.com brand of SDRAMs. I've got a 128MB stick PC-100 that I've clocked up to 124MHz at cas-2 that had Micron chips. I've got a pair of 128MB PC-133 sticks that are Micron chips with CAS-2 at 124MHz (which was the max I could clock my P3-450).

I've upgraded that ol' P3 to an Athlon-700, and the Corsair PC-133 sticks are doing very well in my Asus K7M mobo.

One of my buddies got a Corsair PC-133 stick just after I got mine, and it came with Samsung chips on it.

I use 256 megs of the Enhanced Memory Systems HSDRAM PC133 that Mushkin used to sell (got my 2 128 meg sticks from them)...but they are hard to get now...from most of the head to head tests I have read (www.bxboards.com and others)having the highest fsb speeds and greatest stability...As far as I can see, however, unless you are willing to shell out the dough...besides they are sold out...heh
Anyway, other than the fact that the HSDRAM wouldn't overclock beyond 112 at CAS-2 on my ABit BX-6 2...goes to 133 on my Soyo BA6 +III...(Enhanced Says that the BX-6 2.0 with its 6 memory buffers is the prob) and now resides on my K7M with my K7 650...I have my old propritary (sp?) NEC PC100 (this stuff goes 129 at CAS-2 -2-2 with nary a hitch)...I have found the HSDRAM to be excellent in stability and speed...

My two sticks came from Mushkin.
Both have Samsung GH chips. One Samsung PCB, one Mushkin PCB. Both run @ CAS2, but I don't have a way to test them above 100mz.
It's a great place to buy memory.

I always use the cheapest (price) generic stuff I can get my hands on. With an MSI 6167 there isn't much reason to go for 133 stuff + PC100 works perfect set for cas2.

I have Micron PC100 memory (8 ns) with Siemens chips and it runs fine to 129 MHz. Maybe beyond that.

Mushkin has awesome goods, and they treat you right. I have 3 Mushkin w/Samsung GH, and 4 other assorted sticks (Micron, Kingston, generic, etc...) None of them can hang with the Mushkin. I run 124mhz fsb day and night- zero issues with any of the Abit boards I've had.

i bought the cheapest stick of 128 i could get my hands on. Unbranded everything but happy at 133mhz.
