  • The worrying thing from my kill rate is that Brian is closing faster on me than I can seem to do on Ees! Darn - I only want top spot for 1 day!! I did miss last weekend (Thu Fri Sat Sun) with a wedding. But I did get friendly with a gorgeous (I was drunk, she may have been too!) bridesmaid - women love men in a skirt! I would trade that for any number of units ...

However - when the students leave at the end of term from my Uni - the sysadmins are installing Seti on ALL 600 machines in my building (with my help).

So bow before me now weak earthlings

    • Shouldn't you be shutting down all non operational systems over the y2k period.

Out auditors have told us to do this in case of electrical failure, (nuclear explosions) and the like.

I'll be providing 0 units from 23 Dec til 9 Jan

      Doh!
Everything I say is true apart from that which is not

      • Actually, there appears to be a reasonable chance we may end up in a temporary three-way tie for first place. That would be awesome. I hope, if it happens, I can catch it on screen.

        • You'all are talking about a 3-way tie for first, I'm still trying to crawl my way to 6th... That's if'n I don't get passed on my way there....

          • How is it we have 215 members, the top 20 of witch all post multiple WU per day (most of the time), yet we are only putting up less than 100 WU per 24 hour period?

            • We need to push SETI cause more with other members of at the MURC, maybe have a SETI Day when everyone goes out of their way to churn out that extra work unit?

              Comment

              • For some of us - every day is a SETI day...

For the rest of us - if at all possible - get off the pot, and start stokin' the fires...

                    • I'm averaging about 7.5 to 8.5hrs between my 2 PIII-600's.

Of course the 600(b) is faster - that's what the BE6 detects my PIII-450 as when my FSB is set at 133....
