Windows Vista 64, not shutting down

it's odd that my friends PC and mine are experiencing the same problem at almost the same time.

I go to shut down, the screen turns off but the PC remains on, must press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to turn it off. He does the same thing.

Wonder what this could be?

Any ideas?

You both installed SP2 yet? Not installed?

lol...sorry, here are the details...

1-SP2 installed
2-Dual AMD Opteron 275
3-8 GB ram

Now I have Blackberry desktop software installed including the media service which is ROXIO based. Now I have disabled the ROXIO service so I am wondering if it has something to do with it?

I will check tonight and see what happens.
