  • Super simple question on O/clking P3/500 and Abit BE6II

    Hey

I want to overclock my P3 500 retail box and Abit BE6 menuII.

What is a stable speed this can be o/c'd at?
What are the config settings to this (voltage, etc)?
How can you monitor the temp of the CPU whil you are in windows98SE? Is there a prgrm?

    thanks a lot guys...

Try 124 x 1/4 pci bus, 2/3 agp 2 volts or maby 2.05-2.10 if ya gotta ,notify off..Move down from there if its not stable..It should do 600 I would think, but you may have to pop for a good cooler.. The cd that came with the board has a hardware monitor program on it install the temp probe as clode to the cpu core as you can get it.. Matt
