    Yes, another new card.

Essentially 2x HD 5870's on one PCB, but clocked down a bit. Quite the monster.

Sapphire Radeon HD 5970 2GB OC Review Product Number: 21156-01-50R Price: $600USD / $675CAD Warranty: 2-years ATI is on a roll. There is no doubting it or denying the fact that the boys in red have managed to hammer a successive number of nails into NVIDIA’s DX11 aspirations by being...

Its supposedly highly overclockable, with hand picked chips in some cases (XFX) ..

It should be able to do 1Ghz core, with an up in voltage, since the air cooler is rated to 400W.

Apparently all the stock sold out in hours, whatever stock there was....

Anand had a bit of trouble with their ones not overclocking very well, but other sites had better luck...

For most people a 5870 would be plenty (until we get some more DX11 benchmarks that actually use the API fully...)

I hope it is more efficient than the HD4870x2 for running a plain windows desktop.. my computer draws more than 400Watts, just showing this page, mostly due to the video card. Switchable graphics can't come soon enough

Yes, its seems to consume much less at idle (win Desktop)...

Looking hard at a 5870, but will wait until Stalker comes out on steam, andeven then might wait until feb/march.....see what happens to the prices...
