Hi All,
I'm just about to part with some cash for a TV for which the main purpose will be playing DVD's via the TV-Out feature of the G400 DH. I have access to both region 1 and 2 DVD's (I live in UK) which play great on my 17" Monitor but I wanna watch em on a Big TV.
Here's the question, does it matter wether the TV supports NTSC if I want to play region 1 DVD's via the G400 TV-Out and Matrox DVD Software?
The TV I want to get supports S-Video so I should get a good picture using the right cable and the DualHead section of Powerdesk allows you to choose PAL (which the TV will be by default). If I use DVD-Max and play Region 1 DVD's which are NTSC encoded (AFAIK) will there be a problem with stuttering because of missed frames or anything?
Thanks for any help!
P.S. The TV I am looking at is a very resonably priced Matsui 28" wide screen from Curry's. Anyone else had any experience with similar TV's?
