  • Outlook 2007 question

    Hello,

I'm having a weird problem with Office 2007 (I only use it to have a backup of my contacts and calendar, which is synchronized with my phone).

According to the help, and to past experiences, Outlook adds a calendar entry for a birthday of a contact. Mine does for new contacts, but not for my existing ones. Is there a quick way of getting these events in my calendar?

    Thanks!

Export your old contacts to Excel. Export your Calendar to Excel in order to check the file format, modify the relevant parts of your old contacts in to that format and reimport to your calendar.

      The formats match...

I have now gone through all my contacts (not all of them have a birthday entered), changed the date to none, saved the contacted, set the date and saved again. And then the dates show up... Weird...
