Hybrid was just to lower power consumption at idle, and when the main vid card wasn't needed.
It didn't work very well at all, and since then all vid cards have very low idle/2D power usage, which forgoes the need for hybrid power....

The way i set up the ATi and Nvidia cards, is the ATi ne in the upper most slot, and the Nvidia card in the lower slot.
    This doesn't matter though.

What does seem to matter, is the order in which you install the drivers.
The ATi card has to be monitor Number 1, and Nvidia number 2.
I had some trouble with that after faffing with the drivers last weekend, testing Dark Void.

Once theATi driver is installed and functional as the primary monitor, then you install the Nvidia drivers and PhysX drivers etc....
Before rebooting, try installing the patch, up to 1.04 now, but I still used the 1.02 patch.
It didn't work straight away for me, I had to reboot into safe mode, and run the patch from there.
    Then it was fine.
I could activate GPU PhysX in the Nv drivers. And it works.

I faffed so long, since i was getting very little or no PhysX in Dark Void, and then on the second "level" (actually the 4th or 5th) PhysX 'appears' ....and works well.

I am going to do some more tests later on today, as I have noticed the memory usage on the PhysX card goes up to 310Mb in Dark Void, and i'm wondering if i'm getting memory bottleneck now......PhysX was said to be able to use up to 384Mb, 320Mb might not be enough now....

Somehow, I don't feel that they are idling at that low power... but of course "low" is a relative concept...

Thanks for the info on the combination of ati/nvidia!
