has anyone here used V2 SLI ?
how much of a performance gain should this be over a single V2? and how fast of a processor do i need to get good results?

The performance gain is significant. Also, you are able to use 1024x768 instead of only 800x600 for the maximum resolution.
I have had excellent results with a 450 PII.
I'll bet any PIII and any PII greater that 300 MHz is adequate. Also, the performance for some games will be a big function of how much memory you have.
