-quad channel memory (will only support 1 dimm per channel, but I would expect 4gb dimms will be reasonably priced by then, with support for 8gb dimms in the future)
-likely PCI-E 3.0, and will include more lanes than X58
-first CPUs will be native 8-core (with HT)
