I've got the following really weird problem.
I've got a Diamond MX300 and a E-Tech Cyberbullet internal modem.
I've had the modem in one of my computers for a while now, but now I need it in another computer. OK..so I insert the modem.
And boom..the computer doesn't find my soundcard. I tried to reboot a couple of times but no change.
So I take out my modem and everything works again. Notice that it is the BIOS and not Windows which is the problem.
I called the store where I bought the card and those idiots just kept telling me that I should download new drivers for the modem.
I've tried all kinds of combinations with the cards in the PCI-slots. But it doesn't help.
I've also tried to force the IRQ in BIOS but it doesn't seem to work either.
The modem worked fine in my other computer with a Soundblaster AWE64.
WHY the hell does the soundcard disappear when I insert my modem???
