Those upgrades were a great deal back when chip prices were ten fold. Now I don't see how they can compete with the manufacturers of the chips themselves.Gigabyte GA-K8N Ultra 9, Opteron 170 Denmark 2x2Ghz, 2 GB Corsair XMS, Gigabyte 6600, Gentoo Linux
Motion Computing M1400 -- Tablet PC, Ubuntu Linux

I still feel sorry for my old 486DX4/100 sitting in my closet back home though. When I get back to the states I might stick 64mb of ram in it....put my 7gig in there, stick my 8xCD, try to find a 133mhz processors, and install Windows Millenium. Heck...My Grandma will love it! Hmm...Wonder if I could put 2000 on there? I've installed 2000 Server on a P100 with 32mb of ram...I need my 486 again so I can test this out!
