I while ago i had a 128MB stick that was giving up!
At the time i got numerous BSOD's
But the weirdest was that i couldent reach websites when using "WWW.XX.XX".
Ip numbers worked.
Pinging with www... worked (thats where i got the IP numbers)
More and more sites droped avay ever day.
In pure desperation i reinstalled and the problem went away.
The problem resurfased the next day.
the day after that the 128MB stick wouldent boot so i replaced it.
AND ALL problems went away permanently.
The question is:
Why did the bad memory kill DNS names?
