      This is what I discovered. I always switch off from the mains power point. Leaving the power switched on for about 15 sec. before actually pushing the power switch on the tower has solved the problem.
      We pass this way only once. Make the most of it !

        Could be a weak power supply... don't trust the voltages in the BIOS screen (assuming it has some)

          I agree. Sounds very much like a PSU problem.
          PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.

            This is what I suspect too. Looks like electrolytic capacitor syptom.
            We pass this way only once. Make the most of it !

              I just found out that this is a protective feature on the PSU. When the mains power is turned off for a long time, turning it on again and instantly pushing the power button on the tower, trigers a surge protective circuit.
              We pass this way only once. Make the most of it !
