  • PC133 or PC100?

Prices are down, and charlie wants to upgrade his memory. CAS 2 definately.

So, should I bother with PC133. I'll probably upgrade this summer when CU FC-PGA prices come down. I'm running an ASUS P3B-F, so I was contemplating the E series, rather than the EB.

But, even if I get the B processor, the PC133 is only a half-nanosecond faster than PC100. So, is it worth the extra few bucks in case I want to eventually run at 133 FSB?

Has anyone out there successfully run a P3B at 133 FSB with the G400?

If you want to be sure that you're able to run at 133 MHz, you need PC133 ram, good PC100 will probably do it, but you never can tell.

I don't have experience with your MB but the G400 should be a sure thing at 133 (again should...)
