1. Please do not start another thread about the same problem when you already have a thread going.
2. Turn of DMA on the DVD-ROM. This often fixes these type problems.
3. If that doesn't work, unless you use the Hollywood card for video input, you really don't need it. Take it out and see if it solves the problem.
4. Do you have your DVD and hard drive on the same cable? This is OK for some DVD's, but not for others.
