    dude.. i have NO IDEA..

i went all over my manual and it did not tell me..

and I'd say from listening and adjusting with the SB Live! mixer and Winamp's, that the bass/treble adjustment is about +/- 12dB. same as winamp.

the SB Live! crads are not as loud as othe rcards but they do sound a lot better. I guess they decided that since most people have amplified speakers that thwy would opt for less power with less distortion than more power and more distortion. the bass from the card sounds AWESOME as well as all other characteristics of any music. much tighter and cleaner..

awesome.. I bought the SB Live! Full retail (now the SB Live! 1024) and I would buy another without hesitation.. awesome card..

I have the original first press of the the full retail version of the SB Live! All outputs are line level. They decided it would sound better if they left the amplification up to a dedicated sound machine.

As for the dB range, no clue. Go to www.sblive.com and hunt around, maybe you'll get lucky and find them

My computer was working great until my brand new "top-of-the-line" power supply committed ritual suicide, after only 24 hours of use, and took out 2 motherboard (mine and a test board), 2 hard drives, a floppy drive and possibly more...a moment of silence please, in rememberance of a valiant computer that served me well.

      Sorry, had to vent.
