DvD problems 2

Hey there!

I have a problem!
When i put a dvd in my computer, it stops responding, but sometimes it don't?
What could be the problem?
DMA is turned on!

My dvd drive is a Sony dvd-rom ddu-220e
My decoder card is a hollywood +

I am using the newest drivers!, but i can't finde any drivers for the dvd drive.
anybody have a soulution to my prob.., please post it!

Just a lame suggestion but: try to hold shift while loading dvd. This will prevent dvd from starting automatically. If this works try to disable cd notification in Control Panel/System/Cdroms/your dvd. (this would mean you have a problem with default dvd player).
By the way. You didn't tell if you have problems also when using normal cd-s.

1. Check your master/slave jumper settings on the drives.

2. Try disabling DMA and see if both start to work
