Computer finally working again. Was forced to emergency ship 128 MB of Crucial/Micron PC133, but all is well...except the 2 dead motherboards, 2 dead hard drives, 2 dead RAM chips and dead DVD-ROM drive I have now.

Jammrock, was that the 7.5ns PC133? I had ordered the 7C PC133 but it was discontinued. Now I'm waiting for the 7E to become available (suposed to be this week)

                  Mark F,

Yes it was the 7.5 ns PC133 stuff (non-ECC). I ordered it on Monday, was to me on Wednesday.

Jammrock, now that you're systems fixed, does that mean I still need to play a song for it? I haven't touched my trumpet in a while and am pretty, "rusty." (pardon the pun...)

Yeah but you (well I) can't buy it yet.
It's been up since the day I got my E_Mail notice about them cancelling my order for the 7C's.
                      I'm a waiting.
Wonder if I'll find out online first or on their E-Mail?
                      My 7.5s will do 133MHz at 3-2-2.

Nope nothing you said Mark. Board doesn't seem to be updating quickly for me, first the double post and then gone.
Good to know the memory will run 3-2-2 on a 133FSB.

                            Muad'Dib,
I still have 2 fried motherboards, 2 cooked RAM sticks and 2 toasted hard drives and a crispy DVD-ROM, so if you really want to play taps, go right ahead.

                            Mark F,
So you are saying that you have tred ordering the 7.5 ns RAM and they told you it was not available? The part number for mine is CT16M64S4D75 and it is available according to the web site.

                              No
I have the 7.5s, and they work at 3-2-2@133FSB.
I have/had ordered the 7C part, and they are no longer available.
And, I am waiting to be able to order the 7E part.

I see...well, I can't see your computer, but I understand. I have yet to overclock my system yet, so I don't need to worry about the settings at 133 MHz yet. Next time I buy thought I am going through my brother, who can get me a decent discount.
