MS Lync server

I've been on a course for MS Lync server last week and once it's set up it's pretty cool. Does anyone else have any experience with it?

For those who don't know:
MS Lync is corporate IM, Audio, Video, Colaboration software (a la Skype)
- everything is on Corporate servers
- supports calling to phones from corporate gateway, even if abroad. For example sales agent is in US and can call Europe numbers through Lync client on his laptop or smartphone via corporate phone network in Europe
- version 2013 will support federation with Skype

I use it, no experience setting up. I think Gurm has experience setting it up.
