Request for notebook recommendations

ABout tinkering with notebooks. How feasible is CPU-replacement? My H67 Express might just accept 3rd-gen i7QMs.

It's possible to replace the CPU. At least for now. It takes a lot of pulling things apart to get there.

Whether it supports Ivy Bridge depends on the BIOS. Read through the BIOS update changelogs, or contact ASUS support, to see if it's possible. I have a Z68 desktop board that can support Ivy Bridge procs, but I don't know how well laptop BIOSs are kept updated in this regard.
