      46) The idea of running a processor at its rated MHz (except for testing purposes) is heresy.

        47) If stability is a secondary concern to speed. . .
        48) If you know what a peltier cooler is.
        49) If aquiring a 50mhz increase in speed after days of tweaking gives you a sense of satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment.
        50) If you take your computer apart and reassemble it instead of doing jig-saw puzzles for entertainment.

            54. Sadly because of #53, you're forced to run the AC when outside temps are above 50f (10c)!

            55. When you've been OCing for 15 years!

              52) You can disassemble and put your computer back together blindfolded

#56) You remember doing your first OC, by soldering in a clock "crystal" with an override switch to "turboize" your old TI 99/4A home computer. 2Mhz went a long way on that old 12Mhz system. (Greebe, this falls into your #55 - as it was 1981 that I did that bit o work to bring it up to 14mhz)

58 (I think we're on) - If you're trying to modify a heatsink from a 2400 watt professional dimmer (courtesy of a nameless theatre) to fit to your G400 MAX... Hmmmm. Is this healthy (and more importantly, do you think it will work)?

#60 You believe Moore's Law to be immutable and can't understand why it isn't taught in physics class.

#61 You have several "spare" CPU's and BX motherboards in the closet.

So what's wrong with my computer having twice the airflow of the average hovercraft? I think I'll need some air filtering...

Praise the BX (or ZX in my case).
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

PARSEC Ruled! - Wired up 2nd joystick to a series of switches so that I could override the "overheat" problem of laser firing.

It would leave "tracers" on the screen that you could "crash" into, unless you fired through them to erase them.

                                Pole position was another favorite.

The turbo only worked in cartridge based games, software games couldn't keep track of the sprites properly at the OC'd 14mhz...

The speech synthesizer was awesome (could make many types of sounds - even came up with a knife in an empty miracle-whip bottle)

--- Sigh.... Those were the days....
