Value 19' Monitors

I am currently looking for a budget 19' monitor that is capable of 1600X1200 @ 75 hz.
I'm eyeing the ADI G66 monitor, any experiences with their monitors/company?
Also, are their any other value monitors (please don't sudgest a sony, as that would not be defined as a "value" monitor)

I have a Belinea 19"

It is very good generally although with a 19" monitor I would not go higher than 1200 x 1024, which it does at 85hz.

I am currently using an ADI 5P at home and a GT56 at work both 17"'s, we did have a 6P for a while which is their cheaper 19" offering all are very good the GT models especially. The best I've seen for the price here in the UK.

I'm currntly using an 17" ADI 5V monitor. It's actually a refurb I got from the company. Had it a year and half with no trouble.

If you can stretch to $450, take a look at Samsung's 19" Flat Screen. That a little above budget, but the best buy I've seen in a flat monitor. BTW, I have a 19" Mag Innovision 800V that I got at WalMart for $369 that's pretty good for the money. It will do 1600x1200 @ 75 hz.

My friend just bought a Sylvania 19in for under $300. It was the f89 model, which is accually a Princton Graphics monitor with the sylvania name on the front. Its a very clear monito that also does 1600 x1200 @ 75 Hz.

He is VERY pleased with this monitor

Im using Hitachi CM752ET,

It will do 1600x1200@83Hz and the picture is just great. =) Im not sure if replaced this model with something else, but if you can find this one, it will be cheap. =)

MAG Innovisions 800v, if you can find one. This monitor runs for about $300-400 and was PC Mag's PC Editor's choice, which is why it is so hard to find. Never used one, but I have used a simular model (the XJ900) and it is sharp.

I saw a CTX 19" with a trinitron tube at Sam's yesterday for 298.00 with a 20.00 rebate making it 278.00 bucks...thats a really good deal!!

www.aacmeparts.com - some refurbs, some new (factory pulls) - usually some visual defect in case/cabinet or sometimes in glare coating....

I've been getting the GW EV700 for about $119... The 19" go for about $259 EV900(new pulls) the VX900 goes for $264

Hey um. Just my $0.02 (6 cents CDN), - The words "budget" and "monitor" shouldn't really be in the same sentence. I've learned the hard way that due to misconvergence over time, image distortion and increasing fuzzyness that getting a "cheap monitor" isn't such a good idea.

You can spend $600 for a real good one that'll last you, or you can get three $200 ones over the same period..

Just my opinion... you don't have to agree. But my Sony Multiscan 400PS hasn't flinched yet in almost 5 years.

i don't like those wires that run across the screen that are _really_ visable with a white background.
If it wasn't for that, i may have gone for a sony, its just that they don't offer a real good price/performance ratio.
and that sony monitor you mentioned comes to 1200 here, where the adi comes to 400.
it just ain't worth it to a little student like me to buy a real expensive monitor.
