well Jord, I'm on a mission:
argh argh argh
this will be the power for it
in order to have it self sufficient, it needs to power up when switched on from my power center at the same time as the computer

Makes me long for the good ol' AT power supply days. I don't know how to turn on an ATX power supply without it being hooked up to a mobo. Maybe I'm just an old fart, but I like my Igor switches (ala Frankenstein) where I control the power. I don't like it thinking that it knows better than I do.

There is a way to cross two lines, I actually was reading an article on the web about this last night. If I can find it I'll post it. But I think that one of the wires was the Power OK line. More later hopefully

I hate it when your posts don't show up right away. Anyhow, DuRaNgO I found the article I was looking for: http://overclocking.telefragged.com/...utricks-2.html
It's simple switch diagram that should let you do what you want. Hope it helps

You've got 37 more posts to go before you get rid of that "mini". Yup, I remember the story about how you changed your email addy, but your murc update didn't follow you. I thought that one of the murc admins would have been able to reset your account to your new location...
Yes, it is a bit off topic, but it looks like you found your solution.
