Here's an exemple (I just runned some benchamark).
    p3 550e
    ABIT BF6
    128 meg PCI 133 (crucial)
    G400 max
I've run unreal tournament wicked405 demo here:

with in queue depth to 8 (faster)

    550@550(100 FSB) :33,9 FPs
    550@688(125 FSB) :35,29 Fps
    550@733(133 FSB) :40 fps

with in queue depth to 1 (stable)

    550@688(125 FSB) :32,34
    550@733(133 FSB) :33,12

So as you can see I've gained NOTHING going from 550 (with queue depth to 8) to 733 (with queue depth to 1). the system is even SLOWER if I don't go all the way to 733 if I use on queue depth of 1.

What I mean here, is not to spoil the fun, but at least for games (other apps I don,t know), maybe you better o/c a bit less but leave your "on queue depth" to faster setting (8), that way your system will be faster, even with a lower FSB (at least in games).

            Hey Cyberdude!

If you read some of my older posts in this thread you can see that my P3-450 is also a SL37C. What is the production date and FPO# on yours. Mine is 08/25/99, FPO#: 99310556.

Could you post a run-down of your rig setup, cooling, Sandra benchmarks?

            Regards,

            Jake

I have a P3-450 SL35D and have had it running at 630 for quite a while, cache at 7 latency in BIOS. (7 is the fastest, tested with bunch of programs.

DO NOT turn In-Order Depth Cue thing to 1! I tested that, it halved memory bandwidth (maybe l2 cache bandwidth, not sure.) Maybe more stable but what's the point if it slows the computer down terribly.

My settings in Abit Softbios 3

                AGP: Normal
                CPU V: 2.10
                VIO V: 3.40
                Inorder: 8
Cache: Default (use Powertweak to set to 7)
