Need help finding wave editor software

I have a 250 meg wav file that I need to seperate into the seperate songs. I found a program years ago that was small but the guy wrote it to automatically split wave files according to the silence gaps. Any ideas where I can find something like this? I forgot the file name of the other program

You could also try CDWAVE. The author wrote the program for just the purpose you've described- allowing the user to easily split a large single wav file into separate "tracks", for burning music from tapes, records, and other sources to CD. If you like it, register it (only $10 US).
