How do I block my IP address when access a web site?

Hi,

I am trying to mask my IP dns number, you know the one which is monitored by sites when you try to log in with you ISP, is there any way to block my IP address so it cannot be read?

very paranoid about my privacy.

I think what you're looking for is www.anonymizer.com

They say it masks everything about you to the site you're viewing. No one, not even the folks at anonymizer.com can see your info.

Downsides from what I understand:

1) can't shop (cookies don't work)
2) slower - everything goes thru their servers before being sent to you

I'm not sure if it only works with web browsing or if it works with stuff like IRC/messaging.

I belive there's a charge as well.

I've never used it but maybe it's what you're looking for.

I belive there are sites out there that work as proxys but they're all traceable if you're doing something illegal and you have to be traced.

But, I do not know how to use it. It generates IP addresses, but then what. How do I incorporate when dialing with my regular ISP?

Just run "Internet Options", choose the "connection" tab, now select the dial-up account you want to use it with and choose "Settings...". Now check "Use a proxy server" and "Bypass proxy server for local addresses", and fill in the proxy you want to use.
