  • 3DFXCool Hard Drive cooler.

As you know recently I purchased two Seagate Cheetah 10K drives for my machine, along with the drives came a nice heatwave to really keep things warm and toasty in my case (which I don't want of course). Checked around all kinds of sites, couldn't find a cooler that would keep them cheetah's in line. Low and behold I found 3DFXCool (hate the name by the way), ordered 2 Little-hddHO-FANs for the hard drives, and damn if they get barely above room temperature anymore. They costed $20.00 for both, but it was money very very well spent, and best of all the fans are near silent, cannot hear them over my power supply fan. If you need fans for HDD's like I did, check these things out.

If you mount them in a 5.25 bay, these work good. Seen them in two fan flavors as well. http://www.3dcool.com/triplefanharddrivecooler.shtml

Then there are the ones that attach beneath the drive. http://www.3dcool.com/ultrathinexhauster.shtml

Then, there is the ultimate.. http://www.3dcool.com/ultimateharddrivecooler.shtml
