ive discovered a weired problem. i have 3 versions of 98
win98 upgrade , win98 se and this full install of 98 that has the SN: enbeded so you don't have to enter any thing.
here is the wered part. after my recent adventures of haveing problems with 98se (random lockups that would not go away) i desided to return to 98 non se witch did not lock up on me ect... (but i used my 98upgrade disk for the full install, because i could not find the other disk i usally use ((the embedded one)) i installed my games apps ect. and started playing bam lockup video lockup forceing 1xagp helped it happen more offten but i still got random lockups.
after 2 weeks i found the other cd, and reinstalled again, this time 2x agp is enabled and no lockups. (ive been told that this is a beta version of 98 but it has no time limit, any ideas out there why one version is more stable than another ????
just asking becuase this is bugging me.
