W2K Drivers for sound cards

I have a sonic Vortex 2 and have had shocking results from the beta (?) drivers produced by Aureal - crash crash crash.

I'm thinking of junking the card for a Live Platinum but are the W2K drivers any better for this card ?

With my original live value oem the drivers are working just fine.

LiveWare 2.0 is available for download for the SBLive! cards for win2k. Supposedly, Liveware 3 is in the works too.

Liveware 2 works just fine on my machine!
