Sorry to butt in, but wouldn't a Celeron 366@66fsb with PC-100 RAM have anything to do with it?
When I chose to go out
I always leave the light on
when I have to stay in,
you always find me by the phone.

My friends tell me that I'm lucky,
now that I'm living on my own,
and while they've never been more right,
can someone tell me when will love come home?

what would ram have anything to do with it?

the mb supports pc100 ram. and it'll run fine at 66.

i give up. i'll stick with 1 v2. and only 640x480 in freespace2. too much trouble. g200 runs 1024x768 fine, just not very fast.

i could only get 800x600 @ sli speed in 800x600 with the original bundled with q2 gl from 1997.

the latest minigl and wickedgl did not work.

oh well. i sold the other v2 to a friend. what a pain.

Sounds like you may have had a bad V2 board. I had one with a some bad RAM...it would do precisely what rei was talking about...I finally had to run each card individually to identify the culprit. Got it replaced and all was wonderful.

But now I have my Quantum Obsidian X-24, now the frame rates are REALLY high.

well in any case, thanks for the attempts.

actually fired up quake 2 on the g200 instead of the 3dfx card (that i've had for about 6 months now) (it's been over a year since i've played on the g200)

                        and DAMN

i had forgotten how much lusher the visual quality things are on the g200.

                        oh well.
