  • WinTV, KX133 & Win2000

Has anyone got a Hauppauge WinTV card working on a KX133 motherboard running Win2000?

Every time I run the TV program the machine locks up. Runs fine under Win98 on this system and under Win2000 on my old BX system.

The machine spec is Abit KA7 with beta BIOS, G400 PD5.03. WinTV with latest drivers. VIA 4.20 + AGP 4.02, reg fix & updated viaagp.sys.

Have you tried there website? Huappage's not Via's. There's a list of Via stuff that doesn't work (Surprise surprise).
Anyway have you got your full list irq's etc and full hardware list, Operating system? I haven't got Via chipset but if you supply the info someone maybe able to help you.

It's only the TV-App that doesn't work, the drivers are OK, I'm running MoreTV on a K7V under win2k and even the remote works with it

you can get MoreTV or other TV-Apps here: http://freetv.tng.de/

        Thanks for both replies,

I tried the things mentioned on Hauppauges website without sucess. The OS is Win2k which is running in ACPI mode so one IRQ is being shared. As well as the WinTV card there is also a G400, SB Live, Compaq NIC and an Iomega ISA tape backup controller!

I will try to download the MoreTV program if I can navigate the site, I don't speak German so it should prove interesting
