  • Computer reboots when logging on internet

Has anyone heard of this problem? I'm thinking about trying to replace the modem first before the power supply since it seems to happen only as I'm logging on. Thank you for any suggestions.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the software. Is it an external or Internal Modem?

Man I've seen some strange stuff happen, but this realy beats anything so far...

Only trouble I've seen with modems is that some of them don't like an overclocked PCI bus.

Resource sharing or irq conflict can cause this.
